What happens when you whisper something to your child that isn’t meant for the whole world to hear?
Well, we were in Church on a nice Sunday morning. It was quite crowded and as most churches are during services, it was quiet as could be. Nicole was a little over two and in the fun stages of potty training. I leaned over and whispered to her that I was going to go pee pee and I would be right back. She said okay and agreed to sit and wait for me. I quietly tip toed towards the back of the church when I heard her voice echo throughout the sanctuary. “Bye Mommy, don’t forget to wipe and wash your hands!” Even the pastor had to stop and laugh. I was MORTIFIED!
I think that is enough for now! Those are at the top of the list but if I happen to think of another good one, I will be sure to write! In the meantime, I have included a video of my favorite "funny kid" clip from you tube... enjoy
That being said, one day the girls has been at the pool all day so I decided a nice warm bubble bath would be good for them. I had clothes to fold so I stuck them in the tub together. They were 4 and 7 at the time. The bathroom was right around the corner from my bedroom so I listened as they played and made sure that all was well/ All of a sudden I heard Nicole (the older of the two) tell Angie to bend over. Of course Angie protested and started to yell back. “BEND OVER NOW” I hear and my mind was racing trying desperately to figure out what the heck was going on in there. I went around the corner to check it out and sure enough there was Angie bent over with her butt in Nicole’s face. Just as I was about to step in I see Nicole take a quick sniff and say “Okay, your clean, you can sit down now”. Needless to say I had to explain to her that we as humans do not need to smell one another to see if we are clean! I got a good laugh out of that one and to this day it still makes me smile. Nicole is now 15 and does not find the story to be very funny
